Data and privacy

What Quancis stores, for how long, and what it does not do with your data.

Training

By default, Quancis does not use your prompts or Kael's answers to train or improve its models. That changes only if you explicitly opt in.

How long requests are kept

  • Normal API requests: your prompt is held for at most 15 minutes, for operational purposes such as working out cache hits for billing, and then deleted.
  • Flagged requests: if the safety system flags a request, it is kept beyond that window until the support team has reviewed it. The account can be paused while that happens. If the flag was a false positive, it is cleared and the account restored.
  • Playground conversations are saved to your account so you can come back to them. They stay until you delete them. See Playground.

What we record

  • Usage records: for each request, the time, endpoint, status, token counts, and the key used. This powers your dashboard and your bill.
  • Technical logs: such as IP addresses, kept for a limited time for security and fraud prevention.
  • Account details: your name and email, for as long as the account is active.

Who processes your requests

Kael generates answers using third-party AI infrastructure and processing providers, so your prompts are shared with them as needed to produce a response. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies. Because those providers may operate outside South Africa, information can be processed in other countries. See the Privacy Policy for the details.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, including deleting your account. Email support@quancis.space. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

What Kael never reveals

Quancis does not name the models Kael is built on, in answers, errors, or anywhere else in the product. Error messages are generic on purpose.
